The Differentiator - (Al - Furqan)

.
Above Picture : Ummat 24-Nov-2010
.
.

In the name of God, the Lord of Mercy, the Giver of Mercy

.
Al-Furqan is a Meccan sura that starts with a denunciation of polytheism, then deals with the disbelievers' arguments against the Prophet, the Quran, and the Day of Judgement. It warns them of their fate, citing examples of earlier peoples. The sura describes the power and grace of God, and ends with the qualities of true believers (verses 63-73).
.
Ayat 41-42:
.
Whenever they see you (prophet) they ridicule you:
.
'Is this the one God has sent as a messenger? He might almost have led us astray from our gods if we had not stood so firmly by them'.
.
When they see the punishment, they will know who is furthest from the path.
.
.
Someone gives me surprise...rather heart attack by writing a ridicules comment that our Holy Prophet (pbuh) killed a person in the war of Badr, because he used to make fun of our Prophet(pbuh) face - God Forbid.
.
When I came back to my senses after the shock I asked her to give me any evidence and she gave me the reference, she told me that she read the article from Hafiz Ibtasam Ilahi Zaheer in Daily Newspaper Ummat.
.
I tried to convince her that it may be a misunderstanding and she should delete the comment right away from her blog as our Holy Prophet (pbuh) has never ever hurt anyone...more over killing is far away from his (pbuh) nature.
.
But she sticked to her....whatever...you may call it.
.
When we know some one....when we love some one...when we admire and like someone...
.
And if some other...or anyone come to you and tell you something wrong about your loving one...something like..I have heard about your loving one that he is a killer....what would you do?
.
You not going to publish it right away on your blog...or you not going to write it in your diary....
.
You would first ask the loving one about the truth...or you will check it or try to find out the truth....if you could not find any relative evidence you will go back to the source and ask him to give you the evidence. Only than you will believe that your loving one is a killer. Otherwise you will just dis-regard the whole conversation.
.
The above article...has nothing to do with our Holy Prophet (pbuh) killing a person - God Forbid. .
When you are in war...you can't choose people...whom you going to kill. You can't make decision that...ok...this person was mean to me and now its my turn to kill him brutally...you kill because this is war and who ever come in your way.
.
And you don't termed the soldier a Killer...soldiers (when are in war) are not killers.
.
Even then...if we consider the above article that there was a man who used to ridicule Holy Prophet(pbuh) and was killed by Holy Prophet(pbuh) in war of Badr....it was not intentionally done by Holy Prophet(pbuh). He came in the way and Holy Prophet (pbuh) killed him...end of the story.
.
Yes...than Allah termed the whole situation in a way...that...in this way HE gave the final end to those who used to ridicule prophet(pbuh).
.
It was destined by ALLAH(SWT) that Holy Prophet (pbuh) killed the same person.
.
And our Prophet(pbuh) did not mentioned a word of killing him because he used to ridicule his(pbuh) face - God Forbid.
.
.
I am also like to know from Scholar Hafiz Ibtasam Ilahi Sahib that if he knows so much about the occasion than why not mentioned the name of the person who was killed (as he mentioned).
.
But...
.
What my point is here....
.
I just want to know...that where is our believe and faith?
.
Where is our sense of respect to our Holy Prophet(pbuh)?
.
If someone...in coming days tell me that Holy Prophet(pbuh) lied - God Forbid...so would I going to publish it on my blog ???
.
Shouldn't my duty be to shut the whole conversation without listening more or reading more???
.
Shouldn't this is my faith who keeps me on the believe that Holy Prophet (pbuh) was a complete and perfect human being man and free of all conviction?
.
How would I as a MUSLIM....believe such articles and more over publishing them on my blog?
.
I strongly detest such kind of act from any one who did it...just to find some extra spice and add extra strength to her article.
.
When since childhood as a Muslim we read all about our Holy Prophet(pbuh) merciful nature...do we need any kind of confirmation from any scholar?
.
"The City which had treated him(pbuh) so cruelly, driven him and his faithful band for refuge amongst strangers, which had sworn his life and the lives of his devoted disciples, lay at his feet, his old persecuters relentless and ruthless, who had disgraced humanity by inflicting cruel outrages upon inoffensive men and women, and even upon the lifeless dead, were now completely at his mercy.
.
But in the hour of his triumph every evil suffered was forgotten, every injury inflicted was forgiven, and a general amnesty was extended to the population of Makkah...."
.

Syed Amir Ali in "The Spirit of Islam."

.
.
Calling before him(pbuh) the populace of the vanquished city, he addressed them with...
.
"What do you expect at my hands today?"
.

His(pbuh) people had known him too well, even from his childhood so they replied,
.
"Mercy, O generous brother and nephew !"
.

Tears came into the eyes of the Prophet(pbuh) and he said,
.
"I will speak to you as Joseph spoke unto his brethren, I will not reproach you today; go you are free !"
.
And now a scene was enacted of which there is really no parallel in the history of the world.
.
God Almighty testifies as to the lofty and exalted behaviour of His Messenger -
.
As regards all standards by which human greatness may be measured, we may well ask, is there any man greater than he(pbuh)?
.
In reply, we too can say once more,
.
No....
.
No ! there is no man greater than Muhammad(pbuh).
.
Muhammad (pbuh) was the greatest man that ever lived.
.
Subhan Allah.

  2. I will again say you with your limited knowledge cannot judge everything. You cannot claim that you have full understanding of Quran.I was at weak situation but Allah has helped me and i after alot struggle managed to contact the scholar.now you must read my article as he tells there also the names of those who were killed!(as per your desire)

God forbids you too for calling a Muslim blasphemer on the basis of your lack of knowledge. Its a fact that RasoolAllah was love for all but why have you forgotten hadis :No one can be atrue Muslim until i become most loved to him than his parents, brothers, sisters, and all other relatives"? How will you explain it?
The one who insults our prophet desreves DEATH only.God forbid you- who call a proved blasphemer innocent. Its a big SIN HR

  5. Dear Thinking I have finished all of my work and this time with authentic references frm Quraan, tafseer and other authentic holy books of Hadis. To believe or not to believe its all upto you.

If you want to seek true knowledge of Quran, and want to raise up yourself above biases and personal clashes then you must read the new article and then form your opinion.
Do not reply me if you donot feel like typing long.Just tell me in YES or No:
"Do you believe that any tafseer,Bukhari shareef,Sunan abi dawood and any other book from the six authentic hadis book may be wrong?, but you with your limited research and knowledge can challenge those AUTHENTIC scholars on whom every Muslim MUST believe with close eyes"?

Still if you have doubts on Bukhari and Tafseer then i will say:"lakum deenukum waliyadeen".

I forget all my PERSONAL clashes if i had any with you with this comment.God knows i had firm plan in my heart that if Khuda nakhasta i might have done a blunder by quoting and misrepresenting Quraan then i will seek true forgiveness from Allah, will sadqa as you suggested and will post soory version at my blog.
But Allah has kept my honor Alhamdullilah.

    bye bye!

  7. Let's all take note of Thinking's point earlier under ReeBz original post:

To the effect that there are similarities to Dr. Aafia's case...

*** The public generally knows little of the actual facts of either woman's case - ie - what actually happened during the supposed "crime" in either case...

I've read various versions of what supposedly happened which may have begun by Aasia Bibi being considered "unclean" to the other woman with whom she quarreled. Nor can any of us prove exactly what were the comments spoken? Can we say whether or not Aasia has actually been allowed to speak her own version to the same extent?

The spirit of fairness and kindness toward all manner of people pull at my heart much more than the interpretations by certain clerics or scholars who find reason to condemn to this extent. And I understand that there was great benevolence on the part of your Prophet when Christian nuns were unsafe and your Prophet decreed that they were to be protected.

  8. One of the beauties of Islam is that forgiveness is considered a higher ideal than revenge.

There is a similar demonstration on the part of my Prophet when he was confronted with men who sought to stone a woman supposedly caught in the act of adultery.

He wrote silently in the sand. Then he spoke: "If any of you are without sin, cast the first stone." All the men turned and left the scene. He then looked at the woman and said, "Then, neither do I condemn you - go and sin no more."

What do you suppose either of our Prophet's would say if they were presented with Aasia Bibi?

  9. @Thinking,wonderful post,I was gonna post something like this but I saw yours and you have done it perfectly.
Our respected friend/fellow blogger Areeba Fuad has made a fisaco out of this.
She must understand that wer aren't saying that she is wrong.or she is an blasphemer. She should not take it personally.
This the Holy Prophet pbuh, whom we are talking about.
Apart from respect we Muslims have a unique even strange feeling of love for him.We mind every word used for him.Me and HR feel that the words. perspective used for holy prophet in your post are not right.

    ReplyDelete
  10. @Connie,you gave a superb example.Islam gives forgiveness more value than revenge.Had Islam be a revenge-ful religion, half of Makkah would have killed.

    ReplyDelete
  11. hmm...Dear Connie....thank you so much for coming and understanding the situation.

There is always the matter of situation..as one of my friend told me...

Sometimes...in Muhammad(pbuh)time the difference is that in these case where such action was taken, the blasphemers were in positions of powers and belonged to the enemy ranks.

In the Arabian context, a propagandist and agitator was regarded to be more dangerous than a sniper or assassin, because he (or she in some cases) could rouse entire tribes into fighting, endangering the lives of many.

In those cases where the blasphemer was weaker, or even in the incident of Taif where the situation was not that of a tribal war, the Prophet showed kindness.

He(pbuh) was the most merciful and there is doubt about his mercyful nature.

    Thanks for coming...I am honored.

  12. I shall not comment here.May Allah shows all of us the right path.As you people are paying deaf ear towards the explanation of verses from even Tafseers and authentic Ahadis books, what can i say to such people?

Allah said to Holy prophet :"Can you take the responsibility of making these people follow the right path"? Its upto Allah ONLY that to whom He blesses with Siarte Mustaqeem!

then how can I make you believe even with the authentic references.?

    ===
Connie exactly you are very right.Islma is love and peace for all.But There is nothing more than love and respect of our last prophet for a Muslim. There are same concepts of punishment from blasphemy in christianity and judanism. It is not anythgin new by Islam.I have proved eveything from the authentic Ahadis books and its necessary for every Muslim to have full faith on those books in order to complete his faith on Islam.

As far as asiya thing,You can search for it.She was brought to court. She repeatedly passed derogatory comments many times, even in court.Do you think she still need time to clarify herself? She chose opposite for herself.

  13. hmmm..Dear Hamza.....Thanks alot for coming and going through the post.

When I left facebook...I was addicted to it...and leaving it means leaving all my friends...family and friends..friends...I know they had nothing to do with drawiing competition...but I had to leave them because sticking with facebook means being the part of the drawing competition...

Only...first time I understand my feelings about our Prophet(pbuh)...and how much we care about him(pbuh) and his(pbuh)'s name.

If sometime ahead someone come to me and give me so many TAFSEER that this is written in it that Holy Prophet(pbuh) lied...and if you are a muslim you should accept this tafseer...I believe I going to send him away....

Because as you said...we are so much involved and love our Holy Prophet(pbuh)..we can't even think about him(pbuh) like that....

The perception....Areeba post...is given that our Prophet(pbuh) did kill a man just because he wused to ridicule him.

I again detest such kind of act and post...I disgust such kind of words...I condemn such kind of reckless behaviour....

Anyhow...I am happy that you have grab the base of the conversation...I am trying to do with Areeba..which she thinks that is my personal war....

Thanks alot for your support....and I so glad and astonished to read that you are a Hafiz of Quran...Mashallah...May Allah shower His blesings on you.

I m not your servant, my purpose wasnot to prove Holy Prophet a killer, but was to define the punishement for a blasphemer.

  20. The conversation will take us nowhere as no one is trying to understand other's point of view, so lets leave it as more and more argument will creat more and more confusions and some of them are grave sins.

  21. From each and all we can learn greater compassion, respect, need to go to facts for our own selves as both ReeBz/Thinking and ALL others in this discussion are pointing out. Thanx to EACH of you here.

(for ourselves above all - while not necessarily for winning points with others - this is meant humbly in all sincerity of both gratitude and reminder to self.)

We can easily see parallels between various religious attitudes as far as extreme vengeance.
(Some in my own background are by far among the most hateful on such justifications of inhumane treatment.)

We are each more responsible for our own individual reactions and the intent of our own minds and hearts.

And may we continue to find LOVE in all among this miracle of a community as we have done here many times before.

"hmmm...before I comment...I want you to answer me with only YES or NO....

Do you believe that Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) was a killer?

I just want you write YES or NO. "

    ---

Firstly, the answer is NO. Nobody called him a killer, for your kind information. There's a big difference in killing someone and inflicting punishment on someone. Allah also will punish those in hereafter who have not followed his commands, but of course it does not mean that we call Allah "evil" (God forgive me)

Emotional black-mailing and tactics of disinformation like this will not work. You got to be brave enough to open your mind, and broaden your CONCEPTS and KNOWLEDGE of religion, rather than to limit yourself to what you learnt in childhood.

The Prophet PBUH was the GREATEST man who ever lived. All of us have utmost regard for him. And of course, if anyone insults him, we will definitely be unhappy with the person. I don't understand why you call Miss Asiya innocent if you so much love the prophet. The rules of blasphemy are found through many authentic sources, and they all knew much more about Islam and it's rules, and they were certainly not based on the mere knowledge those people got in "childhood"

Better grow up, show some mature behaviour. You have the chance to gain some more CONCEPTS and knowledge, only if you attain a calm, broad mind, and show some willingness into believing authentic sources, rather than merely arguing needlessly.

The most important thing you should realize is: " A little knowledge is a dangerous thing "

As you seem to have practically NO INFORMATION about the topic (which is evident by the lack of any authentic references), so you are multiplying your confusion, lack of understanding of the concepts and unresearched information by publically showing it on your blog.

Please, if you have such concepts which do not coincide with those present in Quranic tafasir and in Hadith, then don't try to spread your concepts like this.

You should realize that with great power comes a great responsibility. It is a sin to spread wrong or irrelevant information unless you have fully ensured it from Quran, Hadith and/or those who have remarkable knowledge of Islam. In your case, there is nothing. The scholars know much more than you do (they don't rely only on childhood knowledge BTW). You can not just sit in your home without any research and start posting things like this.

Al-Quran: "...Say, "Are those who know equal to those who do not know?"..." (Az-zuma:9)

And lastly, what is the intent of your post? Telling your "story" or to actually understand religion?

If you have any eagerness to understand religion and to correct your mistakes, then take a look at the explanation of the post that ReebZ offered. If you find it convincing, you ought to remove your post. If you do not find it convincing, then you should have STRONGER REFRENCES to prove your point, nothing has to be rejected just for the heck of it!

And lastly, what is the intent of your post? Telling your "story" or to actually understand religion?

If you have any eargerness to understand religion and to correct your mistakes, then take a look at the explanation of the post that ReebZ offered. If you find it convincing, you ought to remove your post. If you do not find it convincing, then you should have STRONGER REFRENCES to prove your point, nothing has to be rejected just for the heck of it!
